Spotlight on Paris Fashion Week

From July 2^nd to 6^th 2017, we will have the opportunity to see presentations of the latest creations of the great designers, with a multitude of catwalk shows in various locations throughout Paris. With its parties, exhibitions and other events, Paris Fashion Week offers a great way to meet and mix with other fashionistas. Best of all, however, you can discover the latest collections of the icons of the fashion world (Dior, Versace, Saint Laurent, Fendi and others). A word to the wise; this year an underground trend (represented mainly by Gosha Rubchinskiy and Demna Gvasalia) could upset the mode classique traditions! There will be interest in Streetwear with a hint of the Nineties as well as new styles of sportswear. Catch the wave of the latest trends and dive into a world of aesthetics and elegance.

Electronic sounds at the Quai Branly Museum

If your hectic sightseeing itinerary allows you a moment or two in which to relax with some music, then why not check out the offerings at the Siestes Électroniques festival? Created in 2002 in Toulouse, Siestes Électroniques will be joining forces this year with the Quai Branly Museum (on the Seine) to offer an original programme of performances in its Théâtre de Verdure. From Saturday July 8^th to Sunday July 9^th 2017, you are invited to come and discover the eclectic sounds of contemporary electro and ethno music in lovely, open-air surroundings. Admission is free by reservation. You can also take the opportunity to visit the exhibitions of the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, made up of 300,000 works from Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas.

Discover the Carreau du Temple

Formerly a clothes market built in the mid-19^th century, the Carreau du Temple was completely renovated in 2014 by the city of Paris. Now a multipurpose centre, it offers hundreds of shows, performances and other events throughout the year. Located in the heart of Paris, it’s an eclectic hub for art, culture and sport (90 slots per week).
